Commissioned by the administration of cultural relics of the Qing dynasty in Dongling, Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation (China National Silk Museum) has carried out conservation an d restoration of 20 silk cultural relics in Eastern Qing Tombs. The silk goods mainly came fr om the imperial palace of Dongling an d the Imperial Palace of Beijing. This exhibition displayed fine women’s clothing an d related silk fabrics. Although the costumes unearthed in the mausoleum lost their original brilliant colors, they still retained their charm after restoration, adding to the vicissitudes an d heaviness.
