Invited by Nasledie, Ministry of Culture of Stavropol Region, Russia and the British Library, UK, ZHAO Feng,director of China National Silk Museum, went to Russia and UK for academic communication and cooperative research.

        In Russia, accompanied by Andrea Bilinsky, Zvezdana Dode, and Vladimir R. Erlikh, ZHAO Feng visited several museums, archeological sites, and sericulture fields near Stavropol Region.

        In UK, ZHAO Feng participated in the symposium “Silk on the Silk Road”, making aspeech “Silks from the Silk Road”. Meanwhile, he also visited Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum, Needham Research Institute, Cambridge University, etc.

        During this communication, a common hot spot in those museums and institutes is still the Silk Road.
