The Danish National Research Foundation's Center for Textile Research (University of Copenhagen) and Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation (CNSM) have signed a cooperative agreement on the conservation and study of woolen textiles during the Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age along the Silk Road, during which, in April 9, 2013, a seminar is held in Hangzhou.

Hosted by Zhao Feng, curator of CNSM and director of Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation, this seminar is divided into three parts: study on textiles and apparels, textiles scientific research, and archaeological excavations in Xinjiang region, attended by experts and scholars from Denmark, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong and other places, as well as a number of visitors who are interested in ancient textiles.
