On the afternoon of July 16, Dr. WangYiyou, Chinese project manager from Freer Gallery of Art, the U.S. NationalInstitutes of Asian Art Museum, was invited to make a speech: Chinese Textile Collection atthe Freer Gallery of Art.

Dr. Wang made a generalized introduction of theSmithsonian Institution and Freer - Sackler Museum of Fine Arts; and presented her analysis of 180 pieces of Chinese textiles in the early 20th centurythat Charles L. Freer, the founder of the Freer Gallery of Art, had collected. She also presented the Sino-US textile circulation channeland the reasons why the textiles and other works of art were selected.
